About a year ago, singer John Legend nabbed a good deal on a $1.9 million 1BR at Scarano-on-the-Bowery. Besides finding a good route to walk his dog in the neighborhood, how's he settling in? Legend's apartment fulfilled his wishlist of "unique space in a newer building, with lots of light," but there's always room for improvement. He hired Winka Dubbeldam of Archi-Tectonics to make some adjustments to the place, and New York Magazine got a few shots. We nabbed some for the gallery above. We're 99.999 percent sure this is the first time a Grammy award's been on display in a Scarano.
