Power to the Penthouse

A few sellers of the city's pricier penthouses might not want to hear it, but the word "penthouse" doesn't mean what it used to. Is nothing sacred?! The term has been stretched so that it now has little meaning, brokers complain to the Times, and is applied to any apartment with outdoor space near the top of a building. That hasn't stopped the resident of one seventh-floor Nolita duplex from paying $3,800/month for his penthouse D address. [NYT]
