We've rarely met a $5.55 million Brooklyn Heights townhouse we didn't like, but we still have to admit there's something a little odd about the design of this one at 26 Garden Place. The 4,500-square-foot house dates to the nineteenth century, and some of its features have been restored to match that period. But then there are the modern touches that have crash-landed straight from the future, like the closets and the huge flat-screen TV over the fireplace. There's a tenant in place, but before you plot to get him out, prospective buyers, take a look at the potential rent roll.
