In the annals of auto-body shops turned adaptive-reuse bakeries, Long Island City's Breadbox is turning out to be, sigh, a disappointment. It hurts to label our neighborhood obsession as such, but where are the rolling pins?! The facade was supposed to be lined with the things and a test run looked fairly successful, but the bakery is now open and, as LICNYC observed, still no rolling pins in sight. We could call up and ask, but that would violate the conditions of our restraining order. Instead we'll just stress-eat our way through a bag of bagels and consider the many ramifications of PinGate.
