Fear not, Village preservationists, Anderson Cooper's architect Cary Tamarkin tells DNAinfo that he and Cooper want to be "nothing but respectful" to the 1906 firehouse bought by the CNN anchor for $4.3 million. The majority of the historic facade will be preserved, and, Tamarkin adds, "There will be plenty of fire poles," the uttering of which caused the heads of a million joke writers to spontaneously explode.
