"I also don’t like walking in a kitchen upon entering an apartment. Putting the wall back would create a proper foyer/hall. The wall could even follow the curve of the island and kinda sweep you around the corner. The kitchen, third bedroom, and master bath also look out into a dark, narrow airshaft kind of space.
