Actor and Brooklyn Heights boy Paul Giamatti was last spotted checking out a One Brooklyn Bridge Park unit back in December. The Sideways star was indeed apartment hunting, but he's opted not to play in the city's largest sandbox. Instead, he and the family have purchased a place at 187 Hicks Street for $1.3 million. Blog Real Estalker reports that it's a 1,400-square-foot three-bedroom, two-bathroom condo. The listing's no longer online, but according to its StreetEasy page, the apartment first came on the market in October '08 for $1.45 million, so, Giamatti fans, he's a negotiator, too!
