Henry Street Townhouse Wired for Sound and Irrigation

New, 4 comments

Welcome back to Tuesday Townhouse: A look at a new-to-market townhouse that is rocking our world. Today, Brooklyn Heights!

Last week's townhouse was a peek into a potentially greener future (also with more fire pits!), so today we're going for something a little more historic. This Brooklyn Heights townhouse at 259 Henry Street was built in 1833 and restored in 2006. The vital stats: 5BR, 5BA, and eight working fireplaces. There's also a sound system wired throughout the house and a landscaped terrace and garden with automated irrigation, so perhaps we're not so far from the future after all. Asking $5.25 million, a million more than it last sold for in 2004.
