Adam Gordon Brings Jane Street Townhouse Back to Market

New, 27 comments

The sale of Adam Gordon's mega-renovation at 26 West 76th Street seems to have been a confidence-booster for the baron of Bond Street, because this weekend another Gordon renovation we haven't heard from in a while returned to the market with a shinier, higher asking price. That property is the 4,000-square-foot townhouse at 60 Jane Street, one of the few Adam Gordon projects not renovated by his go-to architect Steven Harris. In late 2008, 60 Jane was asking $6.65 million. In 2010 dollars? $9,750,000. Is Adam Gordon that hot right now?

UPDATE: Gordon tells us the property has gotten a Steven Harris renovation since its less expensive days: "Last offering was pre-renovation. It was a tenement. Now it's gut renovated as a single family home." Curbed regrets the error.
