Organizers are hammering out the details for take three of the Williamsburg Walks car-free Bedford Avenue program this summer, and, non-shocker, local merchants want the number of car-free days reduced. The business owners said the outdoor loafers haven't bought anything the past two years, and six weekends of street closures is too many. They would prefer just one day of a car free Bedford Avenue, and preferably have it not happen on Bedford Avenue at all, thx! [BK Paper; previously]
