Lowdown: Park Slope's 580 Carroll Street is a trooper. After some bruising by the Board of Standards and Appeals, the development has picked itself up and dusted itself off, and it's now ready for the scrutiny of starchitecture stalkers everywhere. Only six of 17 units in the Enrique Norten building are listed, but there's still quite the array of floorplans, collected in the gallery above. Not pictured: the wooden boardwalk leading through a yard to the main entrance, a quirk some Sparta-haters saw as too Miami. Way back when, the project wanted to bring "an element of country living" to the spot and bridge the Park Slope/Gowanus DMZ. Success?
