The apartment, #5D, was never officially listed, and the deal doesn't close 'til May 15, so we don't yet know the sale price. But the place last sold for $4.4 million in 2006. (And the building's penthouse is not-so-secretly on the market for $6.875 million.) We hunted up some old photos and a floorplan, seen on the jump, from an $18,000/month rental listing for #5D. If the rumored buyer were anyone other than Will Ferrell, we'd probably be more surprised by the camel. Stay classy, friend!
