For all the positive press surrounding the far West Village's Robert A.M. Stern designed Superior Ink, the building hasn't actually had the greatest run of luck when it comes to rentals, with multiple rentchoppers in recent months. Now, two units?already purchased and being rented out by their owners?that got chopped once in January have had their rents cut again, according to the building's StreetEasy page. One, a 5BR, 4.5BA, is now asking $39,750/month, down from $50,000 at the end of '09. The other, a 3BR, 3.5BA, is asking $25,000, down from $30,000 per month in 2009. But the building's cheapest rental, a two-bedroom clocking in at 1,441 square feet, will still only set you back $14,500 a month.
