"This story implies Harlem is just ghetto and vacant condos, a big piece of the story missing here is the massive brownstone renovations that has swept through Harlem, similar to Park Slope in Brooklyn. These beautiful brownstone blocks where under renovation way before the condos arrived and represent a much higher quality home and wealthier home owner than the traditional condo. The future of Harlem certainly includes condos but what really sets Harlem apart from lower Manhattan is it’s century old architecture, which can only be rivaled in lower Manhattan by a few blocks scattered here and there."?anon [A Look at Harlem's Condo Oversupply]
