People have been calling Sunday night's fire at 283 and 285 Grand Street in Chinatown the worst in years, a designation that seems pretty believable after a look at the above photos, from The Lo-Down. What are we lookin' at? The roofs of both buildings are gone, the interior walls are damaged, and there are holes in all of the floors. The city has already decided to demolish both buildings, but until they do, looks like Chinatown has an answer to the Renwick Ruins.
