The real estate industry released its own first quarter sales report today, and it predicts the total and unequivocal collapse of the NYC real estate market. Just kidding! The report actually says sales went up 52 percent year-over-year but were down 12 percent since the fourth quarter. Prices were up 7 percent since the first quarter of 2009.
