Long Island City's Murano Starts to Leave the Lights On

New, 7 comments

Broker-blogger Andrew Fine spotted glassy Long Island City newcomer Murano testing out its 24-hour light clock this weekend. Things were sped up for the test, but the clock is actually supposed to beam out only (!) one new color every hour. Fine wonders who will want to buy the eighth floor corner unit right under the light, which is the first of many questions one could ask about the appeal of this particular feature. Perhaps more appealing: the building will also have a moat!
