StrikeWatch: The Morning After

New, 11 comments

For those who weren't following the madness at midnight, all the strike chatter came to nothing as the union and the Realty Advisory Board reached an agreement. The terms seem like a win for the doormen, who will get a pay increase of nearly 10 percent over four years and no major benefit cuts. Residents can now set aside those building preparedness manuals, but they're not totally satisfied: now they're wondering whether the union asked members to collect residents' e-mail addresses.
