Legendary filmmaker Albert Maysles departed these digs at the Dakota back in 2005, when he and his wife decided to head for a pair of Harlem brownstones. Maysles was disappointed that the creative class was leaving the storied UWS building, and, indeed, he sold his own apartment for $3,005,000 to your average rich guy.
