We could understand The Mark having hurt feelings because there have only been two buyers in the renovated and partially converted luxury hotel, and one of those buyers wants out. That's Russian tycoon Shalva Chigirinsky, who's suing to get back the $4 million deposit he put down on a $15.75 million 3BR penthouse he claims didn't turn out as expected. But The Mark has picked itself up and dusted itself off: the unit Chigirinsky spurned is already back on the market, and still asking $15.75 million. That happened fast?but with only 10 co-ops rather than the initial 42 that were planned, maybe the team just wants to keep the product circulating in case any of those original buyers come back.
