The imminent demise of St. Vincent's will not necessarily derail the controversial hospital/housing development deal. So says the hospital's partner in the plan, Rudin Management. "We have Landmarks Preservation Commission approval for our plan to put up four new buildings," Bill Rudin told GlobeSt. "We think that's still viable." And just to rub it in Tim Robbins's face a little more, he stressed that the company will work to come up with "a viable alternative plan to create an appropriate healthcare facility and to continue with the development on the east campus." If the St. Vincent's plan was a Friday the 13th movie, this would be the scene near the end when the survivors plunge a knife into Jason's chest and then slowly walk away with their backs to the body. Turn around!!!
