Northside Piers just had its best sales month since 2007 and the Edge saw 18 contract signings in April, The Real Deal reports?including six "in excess of $1,100 per square foot." Away from the waterfront, TRD notes sales surges in other new buildings, and $650/sf seems to be the market's sweetspot for places that aren't Warehouse 11. Says a broker at the Scarano-designed 66 North 1st Street: "I don't know how to explain it. We just caught fire!" Not in the way many 'Burg critics were hoping. [Real Deal]
