The buyers who've turned to the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act so far in New York haven't had a lot of luck. At both Fifth on the Park and One Hunters Point, judges have sided with developers over buyers. But a federal judge in Virginia recently took the buyers' side, leading some New York buyers to hope they might get their money back after all. If not, better comb those offering plans for typos.
