Soho Landmark Getting Fixed Up; Sales Update at 99 John

SOHO?That agreement between the city and the owner of Soho's favorite neglected rotting landmark is already kicking in. The GVSHP's latest newsletter has an update on work at 43 MacDougal Street: "After several weeks of removing years worth of accumulated garbage and refuse from inside the building, earlier this month the roof of the landmarked structure was finally sealed and repaired." The building's broker Nest Seekers International boasts in a press release that 20 units have sold since February.
