Lowdown: There was a moment early last year when it looked like the Knickerbocker Condominiums, an attempt at new luxury development in a former supermarket complex, might go rental. That moment has passed: the condos are on the market. And The Knick, as it's now calling itself, has decided to ditch broker favorite East Williamsburg and try to own its Bushwick location, all the way to buying the AreYouBushwick.com domain name. The rooftop lounge, fitness center, bike storage, parking, and ground-floor retail are fairly standard as far as amenities go. But maybe a rooftop lounge in Bushwick has some added novelty value?
