A Sneak Peek Inside Cobble Hill's Columbia Commons

New, 3 comments

Following a splashy Curbed debut as a Development Du Jour and a couple weekends of crowded open houses, some listings have trickled online for the new 48-unit Cobble Hill condo building Columbia Commons at 110 Warren Street. Average asking prices average about $670/sf, and the units listed so far range from a 609-square-foot 1BR asking $409K to a 1,333-square-foot 3BR, 2BA asking $905K. Speaking of the latter, a unit mirroring that exact layout (but one floor below the listed apartment) has been set up as a model apartment while construction carries on throughout the building. We got a look at that model, and the results of our journey west of the BQE can be seen in the gallery above.

Columbia Commons is shooting for an old-meets-new vibe (hence the factory feel of the wide-plank oak floors and multi-pane windows in the apartments), which is a smart way to play the game in this history-drenched 'hood. The building's big interior courtyard is still a construction war zone, so no pictures of that just yet. There's also a 94-unit income-restricted rental portion of the project called Columbia Hicks Apartments that will be operated separately from the condos. Here's the floorplan for the model unit:
