High-Tech Manhattan Valley Townhouse Goes for $4.75M

New, 15 comments

We're cheating a bit this week: today's Tuesday Townhouse, at 308 West 102nd Street, actually just sold. It hit the market in October asking $5.4 million (after it failed to sell off an earlier $6 million listing) and was snapped up by one Andrew Hollings (perhaps this guy?) for $4.75 million, around 12 percent off. So what does that kind of money fetch in Manhattan Valley these days? A 5,000-square-foot, 6-7BR house with self-irrigating yard, elaborate alarm and sprinkler systems, and a "multi-line business phone system." Not quite as cool as a supervillain's teleconferencing room, but not too shabby for the price.
