And now, the latest from Racked NY, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.
1) Soho It'll be a trendy British retailer showdown tomorrow on Broadway, as fresh import AllSaints opens a few doors up from Topshop. According to Racked, "AllSaints has a more unified aesthetic: Dark and deconstructed but also surprisingly wearable. The quality is better, but that also means prices run higher (Fashionista estimates the general range as $250-$600.)" No mention of complimentary fish and chips on opening day.
2) Williamsburg: The 'Burg has its first bar/boutique, called Kingdom. The only thing that should surprise you is that it took so long for the neighborhood to get its first bar/boutique.
3) Upper East Side: Classy Robert A.M. Stern-designed condo palace the Brompton is getting a new retail tenant: Urban Outfitters! Behave and keep it down in there, kids.
