The rents up, vacancy down pattern of recent months continued in April, according to the latest report from Citi Habitats. Rents were up 2 percent from March for studios and one-bedrooms; vacancy dropped to 1.23 percent from 1.38 percent. In hotter neighborhoods, those free rent concessions are disappearing.
