Seems like the 1920s were a good decade for Riverdale. In 1926, a ship builder gave land a try and built this crazy castle house. Then, in 1928, someone else built 360 West 253rd Street, this 14,000-square-foot mansion complete with billiards room, sauna, conservatory, wet bar, and what looks like a, um, history-inspired approach to interior design. At $13.975 million, down from an earlier ask of $15 million with a different broker, it also appears to be the most expensive house on the market in the Bronx. We'd still probably take the house with the turret breakfast room, but does this one have any fans in the audience?
