And now, the latest from Racked NY, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.

1) Noho: The latest ultra-modern addition to Bond Street is not a glassy new condo building, but rather a shoe store that looks like a nightclub. Check out the moody new United Nude flagship.

2) East Village: East 7th Street boutiques Tokio 7 and Fab 208 are locked in a bizarre game of Red Rover. What will be the next business to switch sides? Probably not McSorley's.

3) Little Italy: Here's an interesting retail idea for aspiring merchants. Rent a little white box in a window for $7 a day, and put your wares in it. The business model comes from (of course) Japan. Kooky!
