A possible solution to the Whitney Musem's debate about whether to move to the High Line: lease the museum's UES building to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The two museums are reportedly in talks. The Whitney's not allowed to sell the UES building on the orders of mega-donor Leonard Lauder, and has been worried about how to afford both the High Line and UES properties, but leasing out the UES space could solve that problem. Possible consequences: one very angry Leonard Lauder. [Artinfo via NYO]
