Bridge to Confusion

The Brooklyn Bridge is getting repainted back to its original color, Brooklyn Bridge Tan. But it was almost repainted Queensborough Tan, even though, the Post sniffs, the "iconic span predates the borough of Queens by 14 years." Ruh-roh! A borough identity crises was averted, but the bridge might still be painted the wrong color: the history books say the original was actually "Rawlins Red." It's the end of the day and we're confused. Can't the guys from Home Depot bring over those little paint chip booklets and resolve this mess? [NYP]
