Out-of-towner Bruce Richbourg seems to have bought into the Superior Ink-as-15 CPW comparison: after buying a $3,156,575 unit at 15 Central Park West in 2007, he purchased unit #3E at Superior Ink for $4,327,562 last year. But like a few of his fellow buyers at Robert A.M. Stern's West Village baby, Richbourg doesn't seem to want to actually hang on to his 2BR, 2.5BA purchase. He relisted it one month after closing for $4.5 million. He briefly upped the price but chopped it again this past weekend, down to $4.29 million. Is his willingness to take a loss just a sign of an out-of-towner without enough faith in Manhattan's luxury market? Or has Superior Ink's time sitting unassailably atop the luxury real estate heap come to an end? Either way, Richbourg seems to be hanging on to his 15 CPW unit, so the real 15 CPW still wins out over the upstart.
