The Dutch Kills residential moment may have to hold off a bit longer: the Board of Standards and Appeals approved a variance for a high-rise hotel at 39-35 27th Street, against the wishes of the Dutch Kills Civic Association. The BSA ruled the developer completed enough of the foundation before the neighborhood was downzoned to grandfather in the project.
