Two-Time Buyer Finally Willing to Part With Village Townhouse?

New, 9 comments

The owner of this townhouse at 60 West 9th Street appears to be the owner of a minor-league basketball team, which leaves us wondering why there isn't a basketball hoop hanging from one of those 13-foot ceilings. But that's one of the only things we see to criticize about the house, which was originally built for a former Rhode Island governor. Current owner Jason Briggs thought it was so nice he bought it twice?first for $3.05 million in 2004 and, after selling it for $6.35M a year later, for an even $5 million in 2006. Now he wants $12.995 million for it. That could bankroll a few Manchester Millrats players?if the seller's really ready to let go.
