The Duke Semans mansion at 1009 Fifth Avenue hit the market (for the second time) in January with a $50 million price tag. (Owner Tamir Sapir originally planned to use the place for his ivory collection, but decided to sell once that didn't work out.) The listing featured just a handful of exterior shots, with only pre-qualified buyers allowed to see the inside. How's that going? We're guessing not so well, judging by the broker's attempt to tantalize prospective buyers by releasing to the Observer the above, er, interior "detail photos" and shots of the house's rooftop views. Nothing like getting a sense of the place!
