The State Legislature is considering temporarily suspending the rehabilitation tax credit program, which gives tax credits for the restoration of the state's historic properties. This is a problem, says the Municipal Art Society, because the suspension would last for six years, and the program is supposed to be renewed after five, meaning the measure would effectively kill it. To get everyone fired up, the MAS has a slideshow of nifty maps showing all the tax credit-eligible properties. [MAS]
