The Broadsheet Daily shook our world this morning by running an alarming letter to the editor in which a Downtowner claims Zelda, Battery Park's strutting turkey par excellence, has vanished without a trace. No! But thankfully the BD calmed our nerves by relaying the following vital Zelda intel: "Pat Kirshner, Director of Operations & Planning for the Battery Conservancy, says that she sees Zelda almost daily. She said Zelda's doing 'remarkably well,' likes the warm weather, and is enjoying the piano music." Sonic Youth and classical music? Talk about a Renaissance bird!
