For a little while it looked like developer Sheldon Solow was losing control of his real estate empire, but the Times reports the 81-year-old is back at his desk and rearranging things to his liking. His son, who was running the show in his absence, has returned to the family's Kansas wheat farm, and Solow says there's nothing to those rumors about selling off his First Avenue mud pit.
