BPC Library Wants to Cancel Itself Out; Bay Ridge Condo Returns

New, 7 comments

BATTERY PARK CITY?The above images come from the folks at 1100 Architect, which recently finished the 11,000-square-foot Battery Park City branch of the New York Public Library. The library is adjacent to Riverhouse, and it sounds like it's just as eco-crazy as its neighbor: the architects tell us "the branch's power consumption is measured and off-set by energy generated in remote locations using sustainable sources like wind and solar and hydroelectricity." BAY RIDGE?Bay Ridge's Pier Pointe development has been kicking around for a while, but most listings appear to have vanished from the market last year. Well, please welcome Pier Pointe back, because 22 units have returned to the market, with prices ranging from $349,000 to $829,000. Turns out it wasn't a typo after all. [CurbedWire Inbox]
