The blog notes the recent under-the-cover-of-darkness demolition of 1124 Surf Avenue, formerly a balloon dart game, Pina Colada stand and tattoo parlor, while expressing outrage over the Department of Buildings's response (the work was carried out without a permit)?a response that includes "no demolition work noted."
