More Buyers Want to Rent Out Their New Warehouse 11 Digs

New, 68 comments

Almost as quickly as buyers are closing deals at Williamsburg passion pit Warehouse 11, they're putting their new toys back on the market as rentals. Last week the first one hit the market, and the listing for the $3,450-per-month 2BR/2BA has already vanished. Not to worry, there are suddenly three more, all listed by the nearly foreclosed building's brokerage Aptsandlofts.com. According to StreetEasy, another 1,100-square-foot 2BR is asking $3,550, and a pair of 700-square-foot 1BRs are looking for $2,550. Curbed commenters have speculated that the building's rapid sales (following massive PriceChopping) are fueled by investors. If another 10 rental listings pop up by the time you read this, we'll have to agree. But is that necessarily a bad thing?
