We would say this house at 304 Union Street in the Carroll Gardens/Boerum Hill/Cobble Hill gray zone is straight out of a fairytale, except we don't think Little Red Riding Hood ever lived in a cottage with floors "fashioned of reclaimed barnwood sourced in central Pennsylvania." Which means the deck, gazebo, in-wall speakers, his-and-hers dressing rooms, and all the rest must be real. Unfortunately, they've already been claimed: after about a month on the market at $3.5 million, the house entered contract, and the sale just closed for $3.235 million. But the animal heads and funky candelabras live on in the gallery above.
