Enemy Forces Take Entire Park in Lower Manhattan Rodent War

New, 35 comments

We had some fun with Sheldon Silver's announcement that Lower Manhattan was declaring war on rats, but we're not laughing anymore. That's because we just checked out NYC The Blog's shocking report (which includes video, seen above) from Collect Pond Park, a patch of asphalt near the courthouses that has been completely overrun by the plague-carrying pests. One thing's for sure: If Collect Pond is ever going to become a real park like planned, our boys are going to have to incur some heavy losses and storm it, Normandy style. It's time to stand up to this rat race!
