Like some of their Williamsburg brethren, the residents of Nolita's 280 Mulberry Street sure were pissed about the Hotel Toshi operation setting up shop in some of the building's apartments. Now NYC The Blog hears from Toshi himself that the residents' rebellion against transient tenants was successful. Hotel Toshi promised to be gone by July 3rd, though it's not clear that actually happened. We'll stand outside and listen for tourists whooping it up, the bastards. [NYC The Blog]
