A group of Dutch Kills residents are now suing a developer and city agencies over an under-construction nine-story hotel that's pretty much laughably out of place on a block lined with tiny homes. (Well, it's funny to those who don't live next door, anyway.) The hotel at 39-35 27th Street was awarded a controversial zoning variance despite neighbors' arguments that the foundation wasn't set before the Dutch Kills downzoning went into effect. [NYDN]
