1) Upper West Side: The new Urban Outfitters on Broadway and 99th Street is open, but it isn't exactly as ironic as advertised. Guitar-shaped spatulas, anyone?
2) Times Square: Retailer Grast is attempting the impossible: a zen-like art store inside the Times Square subway station (above). It's dedicated to graffiti artists and subway culture, so maybe stop by before facing the gritty reality of your daily commute.
3) Cobble Hill: Workers have been spotted at the upcoming Barneys Co-op. Opening's currently scheduled for September.
