Hey, Pop-Tarts World enemies, stop hating on the new Times Square store! Turns out Times Square's zoning code requires the illuminated advertecture the area is famous for in order to keep it from becoming "another drab steel canyon of conservative office towers. (Sorry, Sixth Avenue.) The zoning code regulates how much of each building must be covered with ads and how late the advertisers have to keep the lights on (until at least 1 a.m.). [WSJ]
