World Trade Center Redevelopment

New, 10 comments

Shortly after signing the Conde Nast gang as tenants, the Freedom Tower 1 World Trade Center is visible in the city skyline. Er, "if you look really hard and from the right locations," says WNYC. The best vantage points are the pedestrian/bike path on the Brooklyn Bridge's Brooklyn side and Jersey City. The steel is now technically 34 stories high, but that translates to only 22 actual floors, because the finished building will have no floors 7 through 19. [WNYC]
